SPEED TECHNOLOGIES LTD was first incorporated in Nigeria in 1996 as Birmingham & Janetis Ltd for the purpose of providing Aeronautical support for Aviation Companies in Nigeria.

In 1997 however, with the departure of a principal shareholder, and the emergence of the Electronic Superhighway (The Internet), the company was re-engineered thus resulting to all new Speed Technologies Ltd with the specific aim of providing the highest level of computer support and allied services for small and large businesses as well as quality-conscious home users in West African Sub-region.

Good news spread fast! Our clients were so delighted with the quality of our service that they referred us to their friends and contacts.

We have built a solid reputation for the quality and speed of our service. Almost 95% of our customers came to us through referrals.  We are also proud to have a customer retention rate of 82% – unheard of in any industry, let alone the highly competitive computer support industry

Further down the line, our operations expanded further, not just in the IT support business but wider in scope to cover renewable energy technologies with particular emphasis on the “Solar Thermal” hence our top of the line “NaturePal Solar Water Heating Systems and Electronic Security Systems covering Video Security monitoring and other home automation products which are brought together by our smart home systems.

Speed has thrived well as a family owned enterprise, and now has operations in Nigeria, Ghana and the United States where the services have expanded to logistics.
